Government Scam?
|
Why? The U.S. Department of Commerce is funded by our tax dollars. Why are they charging a subscription of $200.00 per year or $75.00 per quarter to access information in their "Stat-USA"Website? Shouldn't this information be free? Isn't this a form of double taxation? I can understand a charge for information that is not available and is a special request that requires the extra work of a government analyst to obtain for me. However, if the information is already available, than how is it right that we are charged an extra fee?
